Blue Steps baby booties look awesome!
I tried to download the blue steps pattern but got a msg. file is damaged and could not be repaired. I wanted to make them for a baby shower gift, they look great. Please let me know when the file has been fixed.

I tried your English version & I think there is a mistake when the front decreases are started. I did a simple SSK decrease which worked well & kept the stitch count correct.

I love the looks of these booties, and I want to make some. But at the very beginning where you cast on 20 sts, then knit one row, then add on another 20 sts- do you just pick those upon the other edge? That’s what it looked like in the picture, but I’m not sure. Help please, and thanks for putting this pattern online.

Yes you are right, but I don’t pick it up, I use this stitches to make a knit stitch.

What exactly are the size of the needles that you use. 2.5 mm Or 5mm??? Or is it Size5. I’m a bit new at knitting and I notice that the needles have two numbers, One is the SIZE# and the other is the #mm which is the actual measurement.
